A rarely available Digital Pension Platform Services Team Leader opportunity has become available at a leading UK Pension Investment Management firm based in London.

The Digital Pension Platform Services Team Leader will take responsibility for oversight and management of all UK Retail Investments offered across self directed digital platform to private investors and clients.

The digital platform services team leader will need to account for day to day operational risk, management of UK retail investment products, technology queries and taking ownership for delivering excellent service and risk management services. The firm's approach is around customers first and the need to offer customers 1st class service and accounting for day to day operational issues, resolution and support strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and customer product offering and services.

Key Duties - Digital Pension Platform Services Team Leader

  • Direct oversight and review of pension platform team;
  • Managing all pension and self directed investment queries, ensuring risk is mitigated and client queries handled in line with firms SLAs.
  • Front to back pension trade life cycle and daily workflow management.
  • Direct line management of the team and ensuring customer focused culture is promoted.
  • MI reporting and review of third party vendors including FNZ digital platform.
  • Supporting business projects to improve efficiencies.

Prerequisite requirements & experience -

  • First-hand experience managing and overseeing Pension Operations business teams.
  • Experience within digital platforms is essential with the firm using FNZ CRM platform.
  • Detailed understanding of UK Retail Investment products including ISAs, SIPPS and UK funds.
  • Management of pension operations, transfers, distribution, income, cash movements, reconciliations and fees and charges.
  • Regulatory knowledge of limits, HMRC taxation rules and pensions transfer rules.
  • Customer orientated experience, experience delivering controls, processes and system enhancements.
  • Ability to work with third party vendors to manage queries and troubleshooting.
  • A proven track record of delivering straight through processing enhancements within pension and digital platform domain.
