Senior Client Reporting Specialist - Asset Management

Black swan have been engaged to source for a Client Reporting Specialist for a leading Asset Manager.

The role will be to deliver the highest standard of client reporting and servicing for clients and internal business partners. The role will involve ensuring that all reporting deadlines are met, providing superior quality and execution, of institutional client reporting. Responsible for maintaining successful relationships with our internal partners, and leading of various projects, where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Help to prioritise responsibilities for the team
  • Resolve problems and escalate as needed and manage client and business partner relationships
  • Review work prepared by direct reports, investment restriction monitoring, ensuring that accurate records are maintained for all clients
  • Responding to queries from stakeholders and clients, management of complaint, breach and incident reporting
  • Ensure all activities within the global team are performed accurately, timely and efficiently
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports; interview, hire, orient, and train employees; prepare and deliver performance reviews; and handle personnel issues as they arise
  • Provide regular briefings to the Client Reporting Manager on significant issues, escalating any likelihood of failure to complete processes by deadlines, maintain and update the issues log
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are followed consistently and highlight necessary amendments
  • Communicate to team the mission and goals of business unit and what is expected from them to achieve these results. Facilitate direct reports in reaching their professional goals
  • Coordinate and complete all assigned client reports and client service requests in conjunction with Sales & Service, Investment Centres, Marketing, Compliance, and other departments where necessary
  • Manage projects related to transition of work to our team, account and strategy on-boarding, continuous improvement initiatives, report automation, and any other firm initiatives
  • Encourage team and leverage technology systems and tools for report rendering, task management, execution, and delivery
  • Time and resource management of the team

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years financial services knowledge/experience
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
